At BrainSTIM, every program is built around the individual — but individualised care needs the right tools. Our Ormond clinic is equipped with a curated range of assessment, stimulation, and training technology, each selected to support a specific part of the brain-body connection: from mapping brain activity, to retraining balance and coordination, to calming an overactive nervous system.
Below is an overview of the equipment our team uses as part of your child’s or your own Melillo Method® program.

iMediSync Brain Mapping Helmet
A wireless, gel-free EEG headset that lets our team capture a detailed picture of brain wave activity in around ten minutes. The dry-electrode design means no messy prep and a much more comfortable experience for children and sensitive clients. The resulting brain map helps guide a truly individualised plan, and can be used again down the track to track progress objectively.
BTrackS Balance Tracker
A force-plate balance assessment system that measures postural sway with the same “gold standard” technology used in concussion and fall-risk clinics worldwide. It gives our team an objective, numbers-based read on balance and postural control — a key marker of how well the brain’s hemispheres are communicating — and lets us track improvement session by session.
Interactive Metronome
A rhythm-and-timing training system that challenges clients to match a steady beat with precise hand and foot movements. Because timing underlies so much of coordination, attention, and even language processing, Interactive Metronome is one of our most widely used tools for building the brain’s internal “clock.”
GoBalance Board
A smart, app-connected wobble board that turns balance training into an interactive game. Built-in motion sensors give real-time feedback while clients play, making it an engaging way to build core strength, coordination, and postural control — especially popular with our younger clients.
Motion Guidance Laser System
A head- or body-mounted laser that projects a visual target onto a wall-mounted grid, giving instant, precise feedback on posture and movement. As a client moves, they can see exactly how steady — or unsteady — their positioning is, making it a powerful tool for retraining neck, shoulder, and postural control.
BlazePods
Wireless, light-up reaction pods used to build reaction speed, visual processing, and whole-body coordination. Clients respond to pods lighting up in different patterns and sequences, which makes for training that is fast-paced, engaging, and easy to scale in difficulty.
Hypervibe G14 Home
A whole-body vibration platform that delivers rapid, rhythmic pulses through the feet and up through the body. The vibration stimulates muscles, joints, and reflex pathways in a way that’s gentle on the body, supporting circulation, muscle activation, and sensory input as part of a broader session.
VibePlate Mini
A compact, personal vibration plate used to deliver targeted whole-body vibration in a smaller, more accessible format. It’s a useful option for clients who benefit from vibration input to support balance, mobility, and muscle engagement, particularly where a gentler or more portable option is preferred.

RezziMax Tuner
A handheld device that uses gentle, variable vibration frequencies to stimulate the vagus nerve and support the nervous system more broadly. It’s often used to help down-regulate stress, support primitive reflex integration work, and ease tension in areas like the jaw, neck, and sinuses, as part of a broader regulation-focused session.
ReviSTIM Galvanic Nerve Stimulator
A gentle, low-level electrical stimulation device used to help activate underperforming areas of the nervous system and support communication between brain and body. It’s a mainstay of the Melillo Method® toolkit, commonly used to support motor control and regulation goals.
Brain Driver
A wearable device that delivers a very low, gentle current to targeted areas of the scalp to support focus, calm, and cognitive engagement. Sessions are short and non-invasive, and are incorporated as part of a broader, individually tailored plan.
NeoRhythm
A wearable PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) device that emits gentle, targeted frequencies to support relaxation, focus, or recovery depending on the program selected. It’s a comfortable, drug-free option we use to help calm or energise the nervous system as needed.
Stimpod NMS460
A non-invasive nerve stimulation device that uses a pen-like probe to deliver pulsed radiofrequency signals directly to affected nerves. It’s used to support nerve function and assist recovery from nerve-related pain or dysfunction as part of a broader treatment plan.
NeuroSage
An immersive, game-based software system that combines visual and acoustic stimulation to engage the visual and vestibular systems. By turning therapeutic exercises into an interactive multi-sensory experience, NeuroSage helps make challenging rehab work feel like play — particularly valuable for younger clients.
Avant LZ30 Cold Laser (with Melillo Method® Protocols)
A high-powered, dual-wavelength Class 3B cold laser, programmed with protocols developed specifically for the Melillo Method®. It’s used to support pain relief, reduce inflammation, and aid recovery, complementing the neurological work being done elsewhere in a client’s program.
InfraHeal Red Light Therapy Panel
A full-body red and near-infrared light panel used to support circulation, recovery, and general wellbeing. It’s a relaxing, passive addition to a program — clients simply lie back and let the light do the work.

A Whole-Team Approach
No single device tells the whole story of a client’s neurodevelopment — which is why our practitioners draw on this full suite of tools, matched to each person’s individual assessment and goals. If you’d like to understand which of these might form part of your own program, get in touch with our Ormond team to book an initial assessment.
