Senior BrainSTIM Aide
With a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and a lifetime spent surrounded by children, both professionally and as a mother to three beautiful girls, Zan Knowles brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for working with kids to her role as an aide at BrainSTIM.
“I’ve always loved interacting with children, encouraging them, and watching them grow and learn,” Zan shares. Her journey into BrainSTIM, however, is deeply personal, inspired by her own family’s remarkable experiences with the program.
Years ago, one of Zan’s daughters was diagnosed with a developmental disability. In search of support, the family began chiropractic care with Dr. Katelyn Jacka at True Health, who introduced them to Amie and BrainSTIM. What followed was nothing short of life changing.
“The cognitive, physical, and emotional improvements she’s made have been unimaginable,” Zan reflects. “Seeing her progress has been a blessing.”
Today, Zan channels that profound appreciation into her work with BrainSTIM, partnering with Amie to help other families achieve similar transformative outcomes: “To now work alongside Amie and help other children is a dream come true,” she says.
Zan’s unique perspective—as both a dedicated BrainSTIM aide and a parent who has walked this path herself—brings empathy, insight, and an unwavering commitment to every child she supports, ensuring each has the opportunity to thrive.
